Park Place means business… this development will bring more than 300 new businesses, provide more than 5,000 new permanent jobs and will employ an additional 500 people each year the site is under developement.

• Park Place will attract more than 300 new, corporate, retail, professional, industrial and hospitality businesses to Barrie.
• More than 5,000 jobs will be created.
• $145 million in local annual employment income.
• There will be new jobs and cooperative opportunities for Georgian College students.
• 500 people will be kept employed in construction related jobs for five years while the site is being developed.

Barrie will receive a considerable economic boost from the Park Place development. Immediate jobs will be created during construction and long-term employment will be made available for some 5,000 residents.
